How do I change my .bat icon?

Allright, so I have a few programs (Not SHORTCUTS), and I just wanted to know how do I change the icon to something that I made. It's 35x35 and is an ICON file so it meets all the requirements. I just do not know how to change the icon because when I right click it, it doesn't give me the "Change Icon" option under properties.

You can't change the icon for .bat files. You can change the icons of executable programs like xyz.exe
