Where is uninstall for Yahoo toolbar?

I want to uninstall Yahoo Toolbar NOW! OK, Yahoo has gone too far!?

• I installed the new Flash player and it installed Yahoo toolbar with - no option to avoid that (that's shamefull tactics anyway). Ok, I thought I'll use the uninstall feature and I'll get through. No luck. The uninstall button from add/remove programs does NOTHING. It chokes before it starts. The unistall in the edit button of the toolbar itself does nothing too. Does that mean that Yahoo! has hijacked my pc? Me, as a customer, I just want to get rid of it. So felow Yahoo-people give me a solution to it!!! No more answers like do this and that (Add/Remove programs, or the 'Edit' or 'Pencil' or whatever button answer ok? IT DOES NOT WORK.) Just an answer to get rid of this useless (like ALL toolbars) junk that I DO NOT WANT.

  I had the same problem and posted a question to Yahoo (not to the membership). This is the answer I received: try deleting Yahoo! Toolbar using Toolbar Registry. Please do the following: Unregister the Yahoo! Toolbar dll, by: 1. Clicking "Start > Run". 2. In the field type: regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Companion\Installs\cpn\yt.d… Note: Exercise caution when changing the Windows registry. Changing the wrong registry entry or making an incorrect entry for a setting can introduce an error that prevents Windows from starting or working properly. It is always suggested that you backup your registry before making any changes. 1. Navigate to this registry key by clicking the "+" signs: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Yahoo\Compa… 2. Be sure the above key is selected, then right-click to open the right-click menu, then press "Delete". I cannot vouch that it will work for you.
