I cannot get the toolbar with my favorites to appear...please help.

How do i get my View, Edit, File, Help toolbar back?

  • It is completely gone. Along with my google and yahoo toolbar. And my favorites button is gone. All that is there is the McAfee Site Advisor, the address bar, a search bar with a faded google and magnifine glass, the refresh and X button, and the back and forward buttons. But ALL my toolbars are gone. F11 doesn't help Nor Right Clicking near the top where it should be or something (No menu pops up or anything) Oh and my copy, paste, etc. menu doesn't come up when i right click. I haven't downloaded anything lately, but when i closed a notice from McAfee my computer stut down and my Microsoft Word stopped working (still doesn;t work) and my internet problems occured. ANY suggestions? Would be highly appreciated! Thanks.

    It seems that McAfee software doesn't like you or your computer. You might want to get rid of McAfee. You could try Avast or AVG (both have free versions, include anti-virus and anti-spyware). If your McAfee includes a firewall, don't worry, Windows Firewall is just fine and it is already there (turn it on).

Alt + V - SHOULD WORK!! This Brings Up Your Menu- File Edit View Then you just arrow over to View and select Toolbars The you can check Menu Bar, and Yahoo Toolbar last resort and this seems to be appropriate Set a system restore point and then Do a System Restore to like a Day or Two. You wont lose anything- And at this point it would be best. BTW when did the Problem occur - What version do you have? or for that matter what Browser are you using? It would help if we could email you to talk to you!
