How do I uninstall the new Yahoo toolbar?

  • Ever since I installed the new Yahoo toolbar, Internet Explorer freezes up just like it used to before Yahoo fixed the problems with the old toolbar. How can I get the old toolbar back so IE won't freeze up?

    Click the pencil icon beside the search box on Yahoo! Toolbar, a menu will drop down, click Uninstall and uninstall the new version, then click one of the links below to download Yahoo! Toolbar with Anti-Spy. Go to your start menu press "all programs" press "control panel" now mthat the control panel is showing you want to press"add or remove programs"scroll down untill you see" yahoo toolbar" then ust click remove and it will do thew rest. hope i was of help.kendra4006

go on controll panell and go o nadd or remove programs go down to yahoo toolbar and click remove and then it will remove it compleatelly from your computer

Right click on your upper taskbar, you will see yahoo taskbar, unable it. If you want it removed permanently : got to configuration sreen (XP) got to software, scroll to yahoo toolbar and choose to delete it (or deinstall it)
