How to clear your toolbar?

How to clear history on the Website toolbar, for mozilla Firefox.?

  • I just switched from Internet explorer to Mozilla Firefox. Which i must say is so much better and safer then the regular Internet. Well anyways usually on internet explorer you can go to a website through Google and it wont show up on the main websites tool bar. Iv tried the Tools>Options>Privacy>Clear Now. but it doesn't clear the websites, just browsing History. Of course I haven't been to inappropriate websites but it is a great burden cause of personal reasons.

  • Answer:

I know what your talking about but it isn't actually History. It's your bookmarks. When you click tools>>>clear private data. It will remove all sites you visited from your history, but your bookmarks will stay. That's why they also stay in yout website toolbar. The only way you could really get rid of them is to remove your bookmarks.
