How can i delete my yahoo!answer page-account?

Loosing the delete checkmark?

• I installed IE 8 a couple weeks back and lost the check marks placed in the delete column in my inbox. This happens when I tag an email (or several) for delete open an email and then return back to the inbox. All delete check marks are gone and I must retag the boxes for delete the press delete. I use to tag certain emails for delete, open any email, read it and return to the inbox and the delete check marks remained. I could continue reading and checking additional emails for delete then execute the delete botton. Sort of a pain now and would like to regain that functionality. I restored back to IE7 but that didn't remedy the problem. Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this problem.

  Yahoo mail is a webpage application. Changing your browser version should have no affect and as you discovered doesn't. Yahoo has been revamping Yahoo Mail (adding new functionality and changing appearance) over the last year. Many of the changes are accomplished via Javascript (not Java) code. So you may have been taking advantage of a coding implementation that has now changed. Since these types of things are usually not documented very well, who's to say if it is now working properly or not. You could submit a problem report to Yahoo Customer Care and see what they have to say. Maybe it's a legit bug and maybe it is now working correctly. Again, who knows!
