Where do I find my pop up blocker button?

Why cant I find pop-up blocker on Yahoo Toolbar?

  • I have downloaded the latest version of Yahoo Toolbar for Firefox, but I cant seem to find the pop up blocker. Its not under Tools...its not in the little pencil menu for options...I do have pop up blocker enabled on Firefox internet options but i was just wondering why the toolbar doesnt have one

    It may not be showing up because it might not be one of the default "pre-installed" buttons. However, you can easily add it. Here's how. From the Y! Toolbar settings menu (pencil) choose Add/Edit Buttons. This will take you to a configuration page where you can add, edit, and rearrange your toolbar buttons. Look for the pop-up blocker on the "Popular" tab in the left panel of this page. It should be obvious how to add the button to your toolbar. Don't forget to click the Save Changes button (right panel). -T

On the Yahoo toolbar on the right side there is a button that says tools. Click that. There is a tab that says turn on pop up blocker. Click that and it will turn it on. Some pop ups will still come up even with it on, but that is very few and far between.
