How do I keep the Yahoo toolbar permanently hidden?

Why do i keep losing the yahoo toolbar?

After having Firefox opened for hours, at some point during the day the yahoo toolbar disappears. When I right click in the toolbar area "navigation toolbar" and "yahoo toolbar" are both checked, but no yahoo toolbar displays. Unchecking and rechecking it does nothing. I have to shut down Firefox completely in order to get the yahoo toolbar back. Can anyone tell me 1. Why is this happening. 2. How to prevent it from happening. 3. How do I get the toolbar back without having to shutdown and restart the brower? Thanks much.

The current Y! toolbar for Internet Explorer has non portable buttons. This means that the buttons are saved on your computer. You do not have to be signed on to Yahoo! under IE to get your buttons. The Y! toolbar for Firefox is basically back level from the IE version. You have to be signed on to Yahoo! to get your buttons. This also means you should keep your Yahoo! cookies for Firefox. Under Firefox, click Tools, click Options, click the Privacy tab (at the top) and accept cookies and keep until they expire.
