What's wrong with my Firefox?

• When i open my firefox its the welcome page and another tab of this http://aimzones.aol.com/?ncid=aimzninshpg and no matter what i do i cant change Firefox from doing this, even when i go to tool's and change my homepage to E.G google..etc the next time i open firefox it's back the AIM homepage and it doesnt save my changes what i have made. What's wrong with it? and how do i change my homepage?

  Try clearing Firefox temp files, cookies and history. 1. Close all browser windows. 2. Open a new firefox window and click Tools and then select Clear Recent History. 3. On that window , using the drop down menu at the top, change the "Time Range to clear" to "Everything." 4. Then check the boxes for Browsing & Download history, cookies, and cache. 5. Click the Clear Now button. Please note these are the directions for the latest update to Firefox which is 3.5.2. No need to uninstall just go to Help and Check for Updates. I always export and backup my bookmarks just to be on the safe side in case anything happens when I update. Now restart your computer. Open Firefox again and change your Home page by going to Tools>>Options>>Main Tab. Put in the new URL in the home page space and click OK. Do not forget to click OK.
