I want to add or delete in the tool bar.

Need a answer to how to delete add ons from my Yahoo tool bar! The last answer is not working!?

  • I tried to where the gear wheel is located & it asks me to log in as I am already logged in. Yahoo correct this if you can! Never mind I'll just uninstall Yahoo tool bar!

    You are not contacting Yahoo! by asking a question on Yahoo! Answsers. Yahoo! doesn't read this stuff. The answers you get on Yahoo! answers typically come from everyday people who use Yahoo! Services. The gear icon is green if you are logged on to Yahoo. If you are logged off to Yahoo, then when you click the gear icon you will see login on the drop down list, but it doesn't mean it is mandatory to login. If you think you are already logged on to Yahoo so be it, I'm not going to argue the point. The next issue is your use of the term add-ons when you probably mean apps (buttons). Click the gear icon, click Edit your apps, move your mouse to the app to be deleted and click the red x. Please be aware that you may see different apps depending upon whether you are signed on to Yahoo or not signed on. This behavior is controlled by Save Layout Preference. Sign on to Yahoo, click the gear icon, click Toolbar Preferences and select the appropriate radio button under Save Layout Preference. Personally, I couldn't care less if you use the Yahoo toolbar or not. However, my concern is primarily that people get the correct answers to their questions. Good luck and take care.

i don't know of a way to delete, but you can disable. Click Tools, Manage Add-ons. . .
