How can I get the Autofill button back on my toolbar?

How can I get the "auto-fill" button on my Yahoo Toolbar?

  • I have the latest version of Yahoo and my "auto fill" button dissapeared. I tried going to the Toolbar Settings, clicked on "Add/Edit Buttons", clicked on "Button Gallery"/Yahoo Favorites/Show All Buttons. There's a whole bunch of button options, but not the auto-fill. So I tried creating my own button which is visible on my toolbar, but that's as far as I got. Now how do I get that button that I named as "auto-fill" to work? I really miss that feature. When I click the new "auto-fill" button, it is meanless, it doesn't do anything. :-(

  • Answer:

It doesn't work that way Green Eyes. Custom buttons just provide a shorthand method of going to a URL. The name of the button is nothing more than a means of identifying the button. The auto fill feature doesn't exist in the Yahoo! toolbar. You can add your vote for the feature at the Yahoo! Toolbar Suggestion Board - click Settings button, click Forums & Feedback. Google toolbar has auto fill and so does Internet Explorer. Also you might want to look at Roboform (search the Internet with keyword Roboform).
