How do i turn on add a tab to my tool bar?

Thanks for the answers. Now I have no "call" tab on the IM tool bar..Can you tell me how to activate it?

I asked how to initiate a call using Yahoo messenger, that my daughter also has. The answers tell me to click on the "call" tab or the "Call Computer" tab on the IM window. I have neither on the tool bar. How can I add to the tool bar since I obviously am missing something important for calling?
