WHere is my regular firefox toolbar and my back and forward buttons?

How do I get "my" buttons to appear on Yahoo Toolbar? (use Firefox 3.0)?

  • Have used Yahoo Toolbar for years with Firefox, however after upgrading to 3.0, it is not working properly. It is displaying basic buttons, not the ones I chose. (Mail, My, Mail, Games, Music, Answers, Sports, Sign out/in). I can click on toolbar settings and then click on Add/Edit Buttons - and see all the buttons I've used for years. I can change the order of the buttons w/ the next screen, however, save changes & refresh the bar - nothing changes. I still see just the basic buttons. Note: just downloaded the newest Toolbar for Firefox today & still have this problem. Is this a common problem?? is this a bug??? is there a work around to get this to work??

    Try what rxmaman says. If that still doesn't work, then try turning on third party cookies (Tools->Options->Privacy tab) or leave third party cookies off and add the name yahoo.com to the exceptions list with the allow attribute.

Same thing happened to me. Go to this link: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2032 and reinstall. Your "Old" buttons should reappear.
