How do I get rid of the Yahoo Toolbar?

  • I downloaded Real Player and Yahoo Toolbar came with it. However, I uninstalled Real Player from my computer along with Yahoo Toolbar. Yet, it still shows up! I am FED UP with it. I want my Google one back. And even when it first showed up it asked me I wanted Yahoo as my homepage and Yahoo Toolbar as my default and I answered no to each. But it's still there! How does it keep coming back when it's uninstalled? I'm thinking it has something to do with my computer not being able to completely uninstall Real Player, but still... Also, the weirdest part of this is that sometimes it switches back to the Google one. 0__0 But the Yahoo Toolbar always comes back and I want it GONE FOREVER. -____-

    HI! you must not have made sure that boxes were unchecked because they don't really just appear... but you can uninstall if you must To uninstall the Yahoo toolbar for IE Go to Start then Control Panel Add/remove programs On program list find yahoo Toolbar remove and for Firefox Tools Go to Add-ons find yahoo toolbar uninstall But ya know, The nice part about the NEW toolbar is that you can customize it with your OWN buttons. You may want to give it a try!
