I clicked classic yahoo how do i change back.

I just clicked Yes to change my Yahoo toolbar. The new version is horrible. How can I get the old one back?

  • Favorites has become "bookmarks" and all my old favorites are gone. And the copy and paste buttons have disappeared. But nw things I don't want like "games" are on the new bar. I want to go back

  • Answer:

Many people share your view about the new version, but you might want to reconsider. IE favorites are still around. Yahoo! bookmarks are a portable version of favorites available from any desktop or laptop. Yahoo bookmarks are saved on the Yahoo servers. You can access your IE favorites, copy, paste by turning on the IE menu bar. To do that, right click an open area around the toolbars and click Menu bar. If you are on IE7, then click the five pointed yellow-orange star near the left of the screen. Again if you are using IE7, you could also put copy and paste buttons on the IE command bar. Click Tools (gear icon), click customize command bar. The settings button (avatar) on V 7 of the Yahoo toolbar allows you to add your own custom buttons and modify your existing toolbar buttons. Click Settings Button, click Add/Edit buttons. If you "really" want to go back to your old toolbar, you could use Windows System Restore and use a restore point prior to doing the upgrade. Search the Internet for instructions on using System Restore (available under Windows ME, Windows XP or Vista). Have a good one. :)
