How can I get the Autofill button back on my toolbar?

What happened to my Yahoo! News button on the toolbar? I can't get it back!?

  • I have the Yahoo! Toolbar, and I love it. I had the cool little News button that even had a drop-down menu with all the headlines, and one day I was rearranging the buttons, and when I removed my Sports button to replace it with Football, my News button disappeared! I used the create button feature to make one that brings me to Yahoo! News, but it's not the actual button from before, just a custom one with a little newspaper icon I made. I can't figure out how to get the old button back, and I'm proficient with the Yahoo! Toolbar, anyone know how?

  • Answer:

    If you are using the latest version of the Yahoo toolbar (the one with the gear icon at the end of the Yahoo toolbar) at toolbar.yahoo.com, then click the green plus near the far end of the toolbar and in the search box, enter "news" (without the quotes). It will show around 30 entries. Select the one(s) you want and add the app(s).

There is a light green , serrated wheel at the right hand corner of the bar. I think I am sorrybu t that is about the only idea I have..Start over. Good luck.
