How do I delete the yahoo toolbar from my browser?

How do I get my toolbar to show my local weather/temp. I have it on Yahoo toolbar on another browser.?

  • I have the temperature and sun/rain icon and a direct link to the full weather for a default location on my Yahoo toolbar on Firefox browser. How do I set that feature on my Yahoo toolbar on Internet Explorer browser?

  • Answer:

    If your Yahoo toolbar for IE has a gear icon at the far end then you are using Version 8 or 8.1. If not, I suggest you download the current version at toolbar.yahoo.com. Click the down arrow on the weather app and look for the words Weather (in white). On that same line toward the right you will see a white gear icon (settings); click it. The rest should be intuitive. Make sure you Save your changes. Don't forget to Vote for Best Answer. Thanks.
