I accidentally hid file edit history etc. how do I get it back.

I went to 'view' and hid the bar with 'file, edit, view, tools etc' an and now can't figure out how to restore?

i hid both the bars at the top of the Firefox page by unchecking them in the dropdown menu, just experimenting. now i want to restore them and can't figure out how? i'm sure it's a very simple thing.

I certainly hope so - I'd be lost without them! Press the F11 key , and hopefully that will restore them temporarily. Then go to View > Toolbars > Navigation Toolbar and click it to have it re-appear. Whenever you wish to hide these bars at the top from now on, just use the F11 key to hide and then unhide them. If that doesn't work you'll have to do System Restore back to a time when they were there. Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore. Only dates in Bold print can be restored, and a re-boot is necessary to complete the process.
