Mini customizable search engine bar attached to my firefox, could used for ebay yahoo etc.. how to get rid of?

Answer:
Under Firefox click Tools, click Add-ons, click extensions tab, click the add-on you want to remove, click uninstall. If you are talking about a search engine, click the down arrow to the left of the search box (search box on 2nd line on right hand side), click Manage Search Engines, click the appropriate search engine and click remove.
