Would like to change homepage?

How to change my homepage on internet explorer?

  • i tried to change the homepage. it worked fine but every time after i shut it down, when i get open it up, it's the same homepage, not the one i wanted. my current homepage is fastwebsearch.com, but i want to change it back to my default, msn. i even blocked fastwebsearch. but it still showed up anyways after i restarted it. i don't know how it became my homepage because i never changed my homepage.

    Navigate to the Web site you'd like to use for your homepage. Then, click the down arrow next to the Home icon on the Internet Explorer 8 toolbar and select Add or Change Home Page. Now you can select whether you want to Use this webpage as your only home page, or Add this webpage to your homepage tabs. Click Yes to save your changes. Hope this helps, Kate IE8 Outreach Team

You click on Tools( at the top of your browser) Internet Options When it comes up, there will be an area that shows what your homepage is. Make sure your link starts with http://www.whaterver.com Once you enter your homepage address. Click apply and then OK
