Where is anti spy on tool bar?

I installed yahoo anti-spy tool bar but anti-spy does not appear in the tool bar as a selection?

  • I added a button to my toolbar and my anti-spy moved off the end of the bar. I tried to access it with the ">>" drop down menu and it didn't show up. I then tried to find it in the add buttons selection and could not locate it in the "all" button selection. I tried doing a system restore and that didn't work either. At this point I decided to reinstall it thinking this might bring it back but when I reinstalled the toolbar with anti-spy, it still doesn't show up on the toolbar. I went through all of the steps again trying to locate it and can not find it or get it to show up. What has happened to the anti-spy? Why can I not locate it? Please Help! I love the Anti-spy tool. It has always done wonders for for me and I hate that I can not use it anymore. Thank you in advance for all your help.

  • Answer:

Assuming you installed the latest version of the Yahoo toolbar at toolbar.yahoo.com you should see a gear icon at the end of the Y toolbar. Click the green plus near the far end of the Yahoo toolbar, click Yahoo Services and add the Anti-Spy app. To play safe you should uninstall CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy (add or remove programs for XP, programs and features for Vista or 7). Then click the Anti-Spy app (blue shield icon) on the Y toolbar. Click Run Anti-Spy. This will start the download/install of Anti-Spy. Have a good one.
