How do I put the pop up blocker on my toolbar list?

Does the most recent version of Yahoo Toolbar have a pop-up blocker?

• My current pop-up blocker that comes preloaded on IE is acting weird. I've currently got it set on the strictest of settings (used to be on the middle setting) and it's turned on but it's allowing an unusually high amount of pop-ups to get through. Some are pages are just completely random but most of them are related to whatever search I made in either google or yahoo and I have to close the stupid window that opened up in full screen in front of the window I'm trying to work with. I understand some unwanted pop ups get though and not all are going to be stopped but this is just getting ridiculous. In an attempt to remedy the situation, I downloaded the Yahoo Toolbar because I remembering it having a pop-up blocker in the past but I'm unable to find it in this newest version. If there is one, could you tell me how to find it. Also, I'm open to hearing other ideas as to how the pop-ups are getting through and how I can stop them. As far as downloads are concerned, the only major one I remember since January is a virus scanner from Microsoft Security Essentials that my hubby put on it when he noticed my lap top running slow (hasn't been since he worked with it) and some downloads from a CD to view some video clips I made with my video camera. I have an ASUS Eee PC 901 with the Windows XP operating system if that helps too. If more information is required to answer the question, I'll do my best to provide it. Thanks.

  Microsoft Security Essentials 1.0.1961.0 28 February 2010 Make sure you have a current level of Security Essentials and run a full system scan. Sounds like you are infected with adware. Pop-up blockers may reduce the amount of adware but are usually ineffective. If Security Essentials finds nothing, then try the free version of SuperAntiSpyware at superantispyware.com. SuperAntiSpyware is safe to use. I don't point people to malicious software. I have been involved in spyware removal for at least 5 years and participated in the beta testing of Windows Defender. Download/install, check for updates and run a full scan. SuperAntiSpyware will not conflict with Security Essentials.
