How can i search for friends on yahoo?

How do i remove the box with phone in, phone out, add plugins, & yahoo web search from my friends list box?

on my messenger friends list, there is a box at the top for typing in phone #'s and id's, at bottom of the friends list there is "phone in, phone out, add plugins, and yahoo web search"..i want to remove those things from the messenger friends list box as they take up too much room..can you please tell me how to do that? i have the latest 8.1 419 yahoo messenger...thanks so much for your help

U don't have the latest yahoo messenger. There is a beta version 9. Also there is a Vista only version. What u want to do is silly. All that stuff is part of messenger and u can't get rid of it. All that stuff is not a toolbar. I don't know y u are asking this question under Yahoo! Toolbar. You should have asked under Yahoo! Messenger.
