How many portfolio's can you make on Yahoo Finance?

Latest Yahoo Toolbar has wrong URLs for Finance portfolios - how to fix?

  • A little over a week ago, I re-installed Yahoo Toolbar after my buttons disappeared, probably because a server was down. My portfolios are no longer accessible using the menus under the Finance button. The Finance button portfolios now refer to URLs of the form http://us.finance.yahoo.com/p?v&k=pf_2 when the correct URL is of the form http://finance.yahoo.com/p?v&k=pf_2 I searched my registry for the defective URL, couldn't find it. Anybody know how to fix this, or how to tell Yahoo that their product has a bug? Thanks, Mike

    Yahoo messed up. It's their problem. They have to fix it. It's been reported by several users already. However, the only way to get things fixed is to have many people report the same problem: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/toolbar/general.html?

Click toolbar settings (avatar) select add/edit buttons. Click the finance button, then add, when you are finished, click "save changes" To be sure your buttons don't disappear, right click on the toolbar area, select "lock the toolbars"..If the URL is still not taking you there, click on make a button. Put the correct address in the top box, then give it a name, click "save changes" then you have made your own button.
