Change homepage from my yahoo to the regular yahoo?

Mozilla Firefox start prompts yahoo window asking if I want to change to yahoo homepage and search engine?

Since I downloaded Yahoo toolbar, each time I startup Mozilla Firefox, I get a yahoo dialog window asking if I want to change my homepage and search engine to yahoo. I check the 'NO' boxes and the"Don't ask me again" box but the yahoo window pops up each time I start Firefox. thanks - Jay

Your preferences aren't being saved on exit - most likely either Firefox isn't closing correctly (e.g. crashing) or you don't have write access to your profile. - type "about:config" in the addressbar - type "yahoo" in the "Filter" bar - find the "yahoo.homepage.dontask" pref and set that to true - close all firefox windows and restart you should not be prompted again. if you are, check that preference and see that it's been reset to "false" and figure out why your Firefox installation isn't saving your preferences.
