How do I install yahoo mail back on my toolbar?

Installed Yahoo Toolbar and messenger but I can't see Yahoo Mail in default mailto?

  • I want to be able to click on a reply to email, on craigslist for example, and have Yahoo Mail open instead of the Outlook. I had this working before, I am not sure what happened? I know how to do all the settings for it. My understanding is that if I install Yahoo Toolbar and/or messenger I should see Yahoo Mail option in my Control Panel/Internet Options/Programs/E-mail. I have installed and reinstalled yahoo messenger and yahoo toolbar, however, that option does not come up in my Internet Options. HELP! I use Windows XP I use all of the following browsers. Chrome I use the most and Explorer the least. Chrome Opera Mozzila Firefox Explorer

    Bottom line: Uninstall the Yahoo toolbar. Even though the installation of Yahoo Messenger installs the Yahoo toolbar, you get a back level version of the Yahoo toolbar. Re-install the Yahoo toolbar from toolbar.yahoo.com and check the box to make Yahoo your default email and install the mail plug-in. You are correct about how to set it up for Internet Explorer. For Firefox: Tools>Options>Applications>mailto I leave Chrome and Opera to you. Good luck. :-) BTW, excellent details. Kudos.
