How do I uninstall the toolbar?

How do I uninstall Yahoo Toolbar when I can't start up Internet Explorer?

  • I recently upgraded from Windows XP to Vista. Since then, I have been unable to start Internet Explorer 7.0. The program crashes after a few seconds. Vista reports "This problem was caused by Yahoo! Toolbar. This program was created by Yahoo! Inc.. Yahoo! Inc. does not currently have a solution for the problem that you reported." I cannot uninstall the Yahoo toolbar because I can't start Internet Explorer. I tried to uninstall it from the Add/Remove programs module in Vista. Since then, Yahoo Toolbar no longer appears on the list of programs that can be uninstalled, but the problem persists. Any suggestions, folks?

  • Answer:

Go to the add and remove programs menu, you can do this by right clicking in any program and precing delete. A message will appear giving you the add and remove programs option. When you click on it all the programs in your computer will appear listed. Find the Yahoo toolbar and click uninstall or change to remove it.
