Where is my pop-up blocker icon on the yahoo toolbar?

Yahoo toolbar?

  • yahoo toolbar in internet explorer has an option to set popups now i downloaded firefox then yahoo toolbar but no icon appeared for popup options i go to add ons and a popup blocker isnt even listed. i have a friend that has an int exp problem so im try to set up firefox so he game play pogo but it keeps coming up with a popup problem. how do i fix this problem thanks john

    The pop-up blocker for Firefox is built-in. Under Firefox click Tools, click Options and on the options window click the Content tab (at the top row). You will see a box for pop-ups. Click the exceptions button to add a site that you don't want pop-ups blocked. I suggest not using a pop-up blocker on the Yahoo! toolbar if you are using a browser that supports pop-up blocking. Also Internet Explorer may have a pop-up blocker built-in. You can check by clicking Tools and see if there is a pop-up blocker entry.

Try checking the firefox popup setting is set. click toolbar>content>tick block popup window. if the popups still continue scan your computer for spyware.

Hit tools above and turn it off there. Go back to the bar you were using only. That tab controls the Y bar popper.
