Why doesn't my Yahoo home page update itself daily?

I have yahoo as my home page internet explorer keeps failing pops up problem yahoo toolbar tried update no wor

  • try to update toolbar downloads ok but will not install properly

    You may never get a resolution to the problem if you are under Internet Explorer 6. Uninstall the toolbar. If you can get the toolbar to install properly under IE6, turning off toolbar tabbing (use toolbar options) will get rid of most of the IE failures. If you can upgrade to IE7 (meaning you are on Windows XP SP2) do so. Then reinstall the toolbar.

sounds like you have a virus or some realy bad trojens do a check with your spyware and anti virus then uninstall then do a search make sure none of those files are on your pc (tool bar) then reboot . check your setting under internet options what are they set too? I find tool bars to be nothing more then spywear a good firewall /anti virus program should have good pop up blockers.
