How do i get the old tool bar?

How can I get my old tool bar back (I hate the new one ... HATE IT!!!) ?

  • The new Yahooo Tool bar just appeared one day out of nowhere and the old one just dissapeared into internet oblivion. It is really frustating.

    I assume you're talking about Yahoo! Toolbar, since you posted your question in the Yahoo! Toolbar category. This should work, unless you're calling "Internet Explorer" Yahoo! Toolbar as a lot of people are doing. If that is the case, you need to add details to your question, because you will need an entirely different answer. Do a System Restore. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > and restore back to a point before you did the upgrade. If that doesn't work, uninstall the new one. Click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > scroll down and find Yahoo! Toolbar and click on it to highlight it and give you the remove option and click Remove, then click this link and download the old one, version 6.3.6. http://uk.toolbar.yahoo.com/

Click on the pencil to see the drop down box. Click on "Personal Options" ->"Add/Edit" buttons. Check the box next to each item you want back in your toolbar and uncheck items you do not want there. Click "Finished." Right click a blank area in the yahoo toolbar and click "Lock the Toolbars."
