Can you help restore my Yahoo toolbar?

Can't c the yahoo toolbar after i install.?

  • few days ago i installed internet explorer7 again by mistake.so i tried to download yahoo toolbar.everytime i tried to download, my norton antivirus blocked the program.now i have unistalled the antivirus.still the same thing happening. i tried to run system restore.thats not working either.showing error message.please help me to solve the problem.

The System Restore issue is caused by uninstalling Norton Anti-virus. Don't let that disturb you right now. Make sure IE7 functions correctly. If not, bad news (you might have to uninstall IE7 and then reinstall again). Goto symantec.com and search on symnrt. Download and run the Norton removal tool. Now cleanup the registry. Here is the Microsoft cleanup tool for the registry http://onecare.live.com/site/en-us/center/cleanup.htm Reboot your system and make sure everything runs Ok. Goto Windows Update and apply any fixes. Check add/remove programs for the Yahoo toolbar. If it is not there, then download and install from toolbar.yahoo.com Install your anti-virus program, run live update until no more updates and you should be back in business. Take a new System Restore point and then try doing a System Restore using the new restore point. It should work now.

Click view above and enter toolbars. Click yahoo to show it. If it does not show restart the pc and it will show.
