What is the action bar?

What is "the action bar" to extend questions?

• I asked a question about Yahoo Mail and got no usable answer. Two days later the Question Man said I could extend the 4-day life of my question by using "the action bar." It was really hard to find a reference to the action bar but when I did and clicked it nothing happened. Is this all a joke?

  When you open your question it's the gray shaded bar under the question, just click on edit (pencil icon) and you'll see a drop down menu, there you can click on extend expiration to extend the life of your question. You can only extend your question by 4 days and it must be within the first 4 days to do it. -T
