Go to Start > Control Panel, and then run Programs and Features. If you're using Windows XP, run Add/Remove Programs instead. Find the Yahoo! toolbar on the installed programs list. Select it and then click the Uninstall button. You can also uninstall any other Yahoo! entries you find. Internet Explorer 8 also lets you disable tool bars. Go to Tools > Manage Add-ons. Under Toolbars and Extensions find the Yahoo! toolbar. Select it and then click the Disable button. Just note that this won't completely uninstall it. Firefox makes it a little easier. In Firefox, go to Tools > Add-ons, and then click the Extensions section. Select the Yahoo! toolbar and click Uninstall. Restart Firefox and the toolbar will be gone for good.
