Cant download yahoo toolbar, using windows 7 x64 bit?

i tried downloading the yahoo toolbar but a message come saying it was unable to download the toolbar. i'm using windows 7 ultimate x64 bit

Use the 32 bit version of IE 8 under Win 7 x64 to download the Yahoo toolbar (toolbar.yahoo.com). Yahoo toolbar comes in only a 32 bit flavor. If you have already installed the Yahoo toolbar, the installer will not let you install a Yahoo toolbar with the same version/build date. Close IE. Go to Control Panel, Programs and Features and if you see Yahoo toolbar then uninstall. Then attempt the re-installation at toolbar.yahoo.com.
