Where is anti spy on tool bar?

Problem with Internet Browser 7 "ANTI-SPY" option on tool bar?

• When my Internet browser ( WINDOWS 7 )is OPEN and I click on "ANTI-SPY" I keep getting an error message: "There was a problem intializing the scanner" Can anyone help me with the error message and fix my anti-spy on my tool bar. The tool bar came when I downloaded the yahoo tool bar.I have un-installed and re-installed, but can not seem to fix the probelm in getting the anti-spy wear to run. Anyone! who can help?

  I assume you're talking about IE 7 and the latest version of the Y! Toolbar (v 7.1.0) with the Yahoo! Anti-Spy from CA (Computer Associates). It sounds like you have a fouled up installation of Anti-Spy. I have not experienced your problem, but here's something you could try. Go to Add/Remove Programs (Start->Control Panel->Add/Remove Programs). You should find an entry called "CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy (remove only)". Click on that entry and remove it. Next, from your browser, click on the Settings (the green square with an avatar) tab on the Y! Toolbar and select Add/Edit Buttons. From that page, locate the Anti-Spy button from the list (Your Toolbar Buttons), click on it to select it, then click on remove. You've now just completely (and hopefully cleanly) removed the Anti-Spy button and the installed software for it. From the same Add/Edit Buttons page, find the Anti-Spy button in the Button Gallery - it should be under the "Yahoo! Favorites" category. Click on the add button to add Anti-Spy back onto your toolbar. Then click Save Changes. This should trigger a new download of the supporting CA Yahoo! Anti-Spy package that replaces the one you removed using Add/Remove Programs. Back in your browser, click on the Y! Toolbar Settings tab and select Refresh Toolbar if the Anti-Spy icon doesn't show up automatically.
