Why will my yahoo toolbar not stay locked?

How can I automatically log on to Yahoo Toolbar and stay logged on, even when I close my browser windows?

  • I find that when I logon to Toolbar, if I launch another browser window in any way besides choosing File - New Window from Explorer, which I often do, I have to logon to Toolbar all over again in my new browser windows. How can I logon to Toolbar automatically and stay logged on?

  • Answer:

    When you log in look for the box under the password that says Remember my ID and Password. Check it. Also check your settings..... From your email page. Options (top right)>Account Information (left). Under Member Info. Check how often it will prompt you for a password. Click on Edit beside Member Info to change. If you go to another computer it will still ask for your password again.
