How do I remove applications from Yahoo toolbar?

How do I remove the irritating Yahoo Toolbar - it seems unremovable.?

  • I follow the exact steps as described in Yahoo Help, both trying to remove it from Add/Remove Programs in my Control Panel (after clicking remove, something seems to happen, the computer lags a little, but the Yahoo toolbar line stays) and Remove Toolbar option on the bar itself - the latter hides it for a while, even though it does not disapear from the pop-up right click menu - it's inactive, however, after a while it appears to be present again. Let me mention, that I highly respect the innovative and friendly Yahoo attitude towards its users, but I regard its toolbar as a privacy intrusion. Please help. Thank you in advance.

    If the Yahoo Toolbar is not uninstalling then the Uninstall program of the toolbar is corrupt. Go to the Yahoo Toolbar download page and download the toolbar over the toolbar on your computer. This will reinstall the Uninstall program and you should be able to Uninstall it. I recommend using the Uninstall in the Pencil Icon on the toolbar.

Thge little pencil in the top left... click it.(it may not be the pencil but its in the top left) it will say remove Yahoo! toolbar Hope it helps
