How do change the buttons on my Yahoo toolbar?

Downloaded yahoo toolbar/I try to change buttons/gets stuck on loading buttons/nothing happens/how do i fix it

  • I get error on page when trying to change or add buttons, shut off firewall temporarily and that did not help either. any answers?

Sometimes the toolbar does not initialize its buttons correctly. Attempting to add/edit new buttons just makes the problem worse. Try signing on to Yahoo first, e.g. goto mail.yahoo.com or any Yahoo page and if not signed on, sign on and use remember password (don't do this on a public computer!). Make sure all the buttons look good on the toolbar, now click Settings, click Add/Edit buttons and try again. If you still encounter problems, uninstall toolbar and re-install. If same problem scenario, send a problem report to Yahoo! Customer Care.

Restart the pc and try again. There has been a glitch with toolbar lately.
