  • Answer:

You have about 3 questions here. Yahoo Toolbar's uninstall log - I don't think it has one. Are you having an issue uninstalling the toolbar? There are multiple ways of just getting rid of the toolbar without having to uninstall it. Instead of Trendmicro Antivirus (I have never heard of them before) I would uninstall that and install AVG Free from Grisoft: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/1 Its a very effective program for dealing with viruses for no money at all (but if you want to upgrade, you can. They'd probably like a little extra money). I would also get Spybot: Search and Destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html This program protects you from Spyware and Adware - two things that can compromise the security of your new Windows PC. Leaving your homepage changable compromises the security of your browser. I suggest you use Mozilla Firefox or Opera Browser, whichever you perfer, instead of Internet Explorer: http://www.firefox.com http://www.opera.com Using these programs constantly will keep your computer safer and more secure (and don't forget to use Windows Update!! http://www.windowsupdate.com ) I would have suggested getting a Mac, but Windows 2000 is probably one of the better builds that Microsoft has made in the last 15 years.

Are you wanting to make Yahoo your homepage? If it is not already, at the top of the page you will find a link that says "Make Yahoo my homepage." Just click it and that will make it so. And you seem to be asking to uninstall the Yahoo toolbar, is that right? If it's on the machine just click the pencil symbol and find uninstall and click that to remove it. Your question goes all over the place so it's hard to know what you want to do. More details are needed.
