I downloaded Yahoo's new toolbar (mistake!) I now have NO pencil icon no Verizon drop menu. HELP!?

Why I downloaded Yahoo's new toolbar is just one of those mistakes I make to often while using a computer. I have lost the pencil icon on the toolbar. The Verizon drop menu is also gone. I can't seem to retrieve my old toolbar. Under VIEW I tried customizing, no good. Under VIEW I tried almost everything there are options for, nothing works. Does anyone know exactly how I can at least get the pencil icon? HELP!!!
