Where did my toolbar go?

Where did my apps on my toolbar go?

I have ie8 and have had the yahoo toolbar forever. I signed in....my apps are gone. No green "wheel" to add or go to apps. Where did my apps go? Yahoo toolbar is checked. I unchecked and rechecked it. Restarted my computer. No yahoo apps. There gone. But if I type bookmarks.yahoo my bookmarks are ok, just not on the toolbar. About a dozen apps gone. Any suggestions?
Answer:

Verify that you are signed in to Yahoo at web page yahoo.com. If you are and the Y toolbar gear icon does not show green click the gear icon and click Refresh Toolbar. If you don't see the gear icon, then I suspect the Yahoo toolbar is corrupted or you may have another IE add-on (toolbar or extension) that is causing a compatibility issue. Try reinstalling the Yahoo toolbar at toolbar.yahoo.com. If that doesn't help, try disabling some add-ons in IE Manage Add-ons, reopen IE and see if that changes things.
