How to add something to my browser toolbar?

  • i want to add a translation search box to my browser toolbar so i can translate words directly from there. i went to howtosayin.com and there was an option to add it to my toolbar. i clicked on it and then there was a sound like the thing finished installing, but nothing changed on my toolbar. i clicked on it again, and this time it said that the following search provider was already installed. but i can't seem to find it anywhere! don't know if this helps but i'm using windows vista, and i have a yahoo toolbar installed. i thought maybe it needed to be enabled manually, so i went into settings and it said that i could set the default provider in the address bar by just clicking it. i clicked on HowToSayIn and still nothing happened... is there a way i can have both yahoo and the translation search boxes in my toolbar? please help!! thanks!

    tools, internet options, search settings, choose the search provider you want to use (yours will say yahoo and howtosayin, among other things), set default, and OK.

Click on Settings/Avatar and select Refresh Toolbar and see if that brings it up. If not, go to Add/Edit Buttons from your Settings Menu and select Make a Button when you get there. Type in that web address from howtosayin.com (including the http://www. part) and select a title for your button like "Translation." Then select an icon and click Save then Save Changes at the right. Then Finish. See if that works.
