I am unable to keep the Yahoo toolbar from appearing each time I start Internet Explorer. How to do?

I recently upgraded Yahoo toolbar based on an email I received from Yahoo with a link for the downloadable file. The reason this was needed, the email said, was because Microsoft was going to release a new version of Explorer that would have compatability problems with Yahoo mail. Now, I can't get rid of the toolbar.

delete it in add remove programs or if running XP go back to a restore point before you installed it

Right click somewhere on a blank space on your tool bar then click on yahoo toolbar, that should keep it from re-appearing

if u don't want to see the tool bar: go to the blank space on the standard buttons (where u have back, refresh, etc..) and right click the mouse. u'll get a correct tick on standard buttons, address bar ....yahoo bar. uncheck it. if u want to totally remove yahoo tool bar, go to start, control panel, add-remove programs, select yahoo toolbar and un install it.
