How to remove a toolbar?

Using the remove programs feature of control panel does not remove the yahoo toolbar. HOW DO I REMOVE TOOLBAR?

  • The Yahoo tool bar was added to my computer UNSOLICITED!!! I am trying to get rid of it. Using the control panel feature, add/remove programs for the yahoo program does NOT remove it. Please tell me how to permanantly get rid of it!

  • Answer:

    Click the pencil icon on the toolbar, scroll down to Uninstall. Nothing but viruses get on your computer without you putting them on. Things like that happen by not reading the directions very carefully. Look at every checkbox and every option when you download, or you will get a ton of stuff you don't want or need.

If trying the Pencil Uninstall and it doesn't work, go to the toolbar download page and reinstall the toolbar over the one on your computer. This will reinstall the Uninstall program and you should be able to uninstall it.
