How can i download the yahoo toolbar?

  • I already had it before, and it says i cant download it but i have to rerun it from the administraters account and i dont understand that or know how to do it.

    You need to be logged into the computer as an Administrator. If you are logged in as a 'normal' user or a guest then you are restricted when it comes to installing, modifying, upgrading etc. At least one of the computer users will have Administrator Rights, this person needs to log in and download the toolbar. To see which users have Administrator Rights click on <Start> (bottom right) then click <Control Panel> then click <User Accounts>. This will list all registered users and tell you if they have Admin Rights.

You need to redownload the yahoo messenger(toolbar comes with it) in the main account of the computer, that should do it.

you can download it from www.yahoo.com. It can run when u log in as administrator it meant that when u install it you choice Administrator use only. if you wish to enable all account use it when u install you should select all account not only for administrator account.
