How do I turn off tabs with the Yahoo toolbar?

On yahoo, in my toolbar options i do not have to option to turn on my tabs....please help?

    Click the pencil icon beside the search box, click Toolbar Options, make sure Enable Tabs is check marked, click OK. If you are using Internet Explorer 7 you won't have the tabs option. If you don't have a tabbed Browser such as Internet Explorer 7 and still don't have the tabs option, download Yahoo! Toolbar again. If you want the older version of Yahoo! Toolbar with Anti-Spy follow the directions below. Click the pencil icon on Yahoo! Toolbar, a menu will drop down, click Uninstall, and uninstall your current version. Go to the site below on the right side of the page and download an older version with Yahoo! Anti-Spy. They have two older versions available. http://www.emco.is/remotedeploymentkit/features.html This site also has the older version. http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/software/yahoo/ *If the downloads above don't work: If you had the older version and updated, this might work, do a System Restore. Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore, and restore to a point before you updated. The only problem is you will lose anything you downloaded after that point. System Restore will probably work. I know Norton Go Back will work, if you have it.

Completely Uninstall your Yahoo Toolbar and then get the newest version downloaded. It should be in the pencil under Toolbar Options (last item) then. Sometimes Yahoo's upgrade doesn't work out right from what I've seen. Also, if you're not using IE 6 then Yahoo Toolbar doesn't have tabs as an option. So if you've got IE 7 or another browser that may be why. If you're using Firefox for example, go to Tools, Options to allow tabs with or without Yahoo Toolbar.
