How can I clear the web search bar?

  • How can I clear the web search bar? I tried to clear the bar in which we type the words which we are looking for but no any use so any help please?

    If you are referring to the search box on the Yahoo! Toolbar (and you're toolbar version number is 6.2 or higher) then it's very easy: Click on the pencil icon to the left of the search box, then click on 'Clear Search History.' If you don't see a pencil icon, you're using an old version of the Toolbar. I suggest upgrading to the latest version: http://toolbar.yahoo.com/

go to the tools bar scroll down to interenet options look on bottom right where it says clear histroy and push then push ok. now thats also gonna delete your history for the past two weeks but i do it everyday since i don't like pill up!

If you are using the newest Yahoo! Toolbar..7.0, then click the "Toolbar Settings" Icon (the avatar) on your toolbar, next to your Bookmarks, and click the down arrow, then put a checkmark next to "Clear Recent Searches" and that will clear all of your searches. You can also click on "Toolbar Options" and put a checkmark next to "Auto Clear Recent Searches When Exiting IE" and that will also clear your searches..Click here, to get the newest Yahoo!
