How to add/remove buttons from my Yahoo toolbar?

All buttons have disappeared from my yahoo toolbar?

  • Hi there I have several toolbars installed (including yahoo toolbar). I was on the internet the other day and my browser crashed and re-loaded. When it re-loaded all the buttons from the yahoo toolbar had gone. All I have left are the yahoo home button and the options button. I checked to see if my toolbar had gone back to its default setting but in the options tab all my selected buttons were still selected but don't appear on the toolbar. I have tried refreshing the toolbar and restarting my browser. I am just wondering if anyone has any idea how to get my buttons back? I wanted to ask before I re-install the toolbar Thanks p.s. I use the firefox browser + will give 10 points for best answer

    Are you using Firefox 3.6.3? I have used Firefox for many years and it has never crashed on me. You might want to look at this Mozilla article: https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Unexpected+installation+error+-203+when+installing+add-ons I would delete the extension files (under corrupt extension files section) and then re-install your add-ons (e.g. Yahoo toolbar). You may also want to re-install Firefox if it continues to crash. Maybe you have a bad add-on. You can also start Firefox in safe mode: Start->All Programs->Mozilla Firefox->Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) Good luck
