How do I upgrade my Toolbar?

How do I get rid of the Upgrade your Toolbar Now! button?

  • I don't want to get rid of my toolbar, just the UPGRADE notice. I don't want to upgrade. If I go to add/delete and delete the toolbar I will delete the entire toolbar. I ONLY want the upgrade button to GO AWAYYYY. What a stupid thing. Its like Yahoo is FORCING the upgrade. I have Windows XP and Explorer 6.0. I don't like upgrades. Too many spiessssssssssssss.

    thank god you have everything been telling all till atthoo knows what to do I would uninstall this new one head back to an older version other then that told to me by master in computer scientist he said dont bother getting vista and best thing is always one that is dependable was xp2 pls ie 6 get rid of this same probs Im havig I'll let u know it this doesnt work rebooting doesnt sorry

if anyone gets the answer to this PLEASE let me know . I have contacted yahoo several times, and no help of course and I want this button OFF my toolbar as well! THANKS ATTENTION YAHOO....we are NOT happy that you have taken the liberty to insert this onto our toolbars , when we do not WANT to upgrade to your new toolbar, and now cannot get it off.....you are making people angry over this issue, and I believe you, Yahoo, can remove it as easily as you managed to put it on there . THANKYOU

I upgraded mine the other day,I also have xp ,it adds a couple more options for you to use or not,it isn't really any different than the old one,and I didn't have any hiccups with mine,I would just upgrade and be done with it.ps,after my upgrade my pc pick up'd speed and loaded faster,you notice the little things with dial up.

ok my toolbar goes like this yahoo7-->bookmarks-->settings-->upgrad… your yahoo toolbar -->(my yahoo was here)-->(mail was here) i want 2 put back my yahoo & mail back where they were i installed it and it took FOEVER 2 FINISH :( then again i don't get the add tab thing??
