How to remove a toolbar?

How do I remove the Yahoo anti-spy icon from my toolbar?Will not allow me to use toolbar 'edit' to remove it!?

  • This is a new icon that Yahoo have decided to install on my toolbar. Clicking on it takes me to a page that encourages me to install the 'suggested' spyware as recommended by Yahoo. I've no need for another anti-spyware package , yet the usual add/edit toolbar buttons don't seem to allow me to remove this new icon. How do I get rid of it please ?

    You have gone to>settings, add/edit buttons, right?? there you click on the antispy in the buttons box where it shows what is in the tool bar, see the remove up in the right corner?? The antspy will be hi-lited, click the remove, THEN click on >Save Changes and see if that won't resolve the problem. You can always move it so it is too far up to show in the toolbar??

Hi, click on toolbar options in Yahoo (the little pencil icon) & it will show a box,de-select the antispy icon box.This should do the trick, it did on mine anyway.
